Lithium technology takes battery performance to a new level.  High capacity and low weight is only the benning.  Caldea Energy's LiFePO4 batteries have cycle life at the top of their class, plan on 8000 cycles at 55% depth of discharge.  On top of that, never worry about adding water or other maintenance.
 
These batteries are designed for renewable energy applications with daily cycles but will handle less frequent cycles with ease.
 
If you're planning to use the same battery a long time lithium is the clear choice.
